Dear Valued Customer,

We are so excited to offer you free shipping on all orders over $99 and under 20 lbs for the month of October! Take advantage by stocking up on all your safety and home care needs!

Now may be a great time to take a second look at your cleaning supplies. First thing to do is make sure nothing has expired. Recycle anything past it's date. Now, restock your supplies with the environment in mind. Here are a few ways you can help add some green to your cleaning.

Reuse

The best way to cut down on waste and take a load off your wallet is by using washable rags for all your cleaning. People tend to grab paper towels because their easy and their texture works great for all cleaning needs. These cleaning rags by Starfiber have all of the benefits of paper towels, but none of the drawbacks. There is one scrubby side and one gentle side, so there is a perfect texture for any cleaning need. The three pack shown at left is only $5.95, and each cloth lasts for over 300 washings. That is years worth of money that won't be spent on paper towels, and acres worth of trees you will save.

Refill

Cleaning products use a lot of packaging. Recycling greatly reduces landfill waste, but it also takes a large amount of energy to recycle those bottles. To help offset this energy consumption, buy economy size refills for your favorite products. If you love Bona's Hardwood Floor Cleaner, don't toss the spray bottle when you're done. Instead, grab the 64 oz refill jug (pictured at left). It's only $9.99, whereas you would spend almost $18 on two new bottles of the same product. You will also be using less than half the packaging.

Check the ingredients

Some people may not realize, but many commercial cleaning products contain toxins that are potentially harmful to our land and water sources. Antibacterial agents and bleaches often survive water filtration, affecting both our drinking water and our agricultural lands. It's good do know what's in your producst. Safe Home Products® does the research for you. Our cleaners are all non-toxic, versatile, and affordable! You will have cleaning solutions to all your issues, and products that have a conscience.
